Press Release Source: National Health Partners, Inc.
National Health Partners Monday November 12, 8:45 am
ET
TotalHR currently provides a
variety of employee benefits opportunities to small and medium size
businesses across the country.
Approximately 40% of these businesses provide no employee benefits
of any kind to their employees.
Under the agreement, TotalHR will offer the company's CARExpress
membership programs to these businesses. These businesses may purchase the
company's CARExpress membership programs for their employees, enable their
employees to purchase the programs themselves through employer
administered payroll deductions, or simply permit their employees to
purchase the programs directly from the company. This is the first time that
TotalHR has offered a comprehensive health discount program like
CARExpress to its clientele.
"We are very excited that
TotalHR has chosen CARExpress as the health discount membership programs
that TotalHR will be offering to its impressive list of clients," stated
David M. Daniels, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Health
Partners. "More than 40% of
small businesses do not offer employer-sponsored health coverage, and
premiums for employer-sponsored health coverage are expected to increase
from $7,000 per year in 2001 to $17,000 per year in 2011. We are always seeking
opportunities to work with premier companies like TotalHR that have a
large number of small and medium size company clients seeking to offer
their employees healthcare benefits that are less expensive than
traditional health insurance."
"We are very pleased to offer
CARExpress' top-flight health discount programs to our extensive list of
clients," stated David L. Stone, President of TotalHR, Inc. "We are always seeking
opportunities to make complementary programs and services available to the
numerous small and medium size businesses located across the country. We offer one of the most
comprehensive suites of employee leasing and employment services in the
country and believe that the addition of CARExpress to our employee
benefits offering will further strengthen our position as one of the
leading providers of employee benefits and human resource administration
services in the United States.
We look forward to a long and successful relationship with National
Health Partners."
"Our focus going forward will
be to work with as many premier companies like TotalHR as we can," added
Mr. Daniels. "We recently
announced the hiring of Frederick Wolf to help bolster our sales and
marketing efforts. I am
pleased that Fred has already generated significant opportunities for us
in such a short period of time. We expect to announce several
additional key deals in the next few weeks that will have a material
impact on our business going forward."
