National Health Partners Tuesday October 28, 9:45 am
ET
HORSHAM, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - National
Health Partners, Inc. (OTCBB: NHPR
- News), a
leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs,
announced today that it has successfully launched a new Hispanic sales
campaign that is already beginning to generate new members each
day.
The
sales campaign commenced with the sale of the company's CARExpress health
discount programs by the first of several Hispanic business organizations
that focus their business activities exclusively on members of the
Hispanic community. Five
additional Hispanic business organizations are expected to begin selling
the company's CARExpress health discount programs during the next couple
of weeks as they complete the training of their
employees.
"One
segment of the U.S. population that we want to continue to focus on is
Hispanic consumers," said David M. Daniels, President and Chief Executive
Officer of National Health Partners.
"Hispanics have been severely underrepresented among the members of
the U.S. population who have health insurance. According to the U.S. Census
Bureau, the uninsured rate for Hispanics in 2006 was 32.1% compared to
15.3% for all members of the U.S. population. Of the 45.7 million Americans who
are uninsured, 14.8 million are Hispanics. In addition to this statistical
data, we have always experienced much higher retention rates with Hispanic
members. The size of the
Hispanic population coupled with the very high retention rates that they
offer provides us with a tremendous opportunity to grow our sales quickly
regardless of the current financial market
conditions."
Mr. Daniels continued, "Our fully bilingual customer service staff will be handling the calls generated from the Hispanic campaign. In addition, we recently revised our CARExpress website to provide an updated version of the website in Spanish to better assist the Hispanic community in learning about and purchasing our CARExpress programs. The Spanish version of our website can be accessed at the following link: www.carexpresshealth.com/spanish. Due to the very positive response we have gotten thus far, we are all excited about our new Hispanic sales campaign and the visibility we will receive in the consumer marketplace. We expect to generate an increasing number of sales each day through this campaign as the additional Hispanic business organizations begin selling our CARExpress programs to the Hispanic community."
