Press Release Source: National Health Partners, Inc.
National Health Partners Wednesday October 17, 2:09 pm ET
HORSHAM, Pa - (BUSINESS WIRE)
- National Health Partners, Inc. (National Health) (OTCBB: NHPR), a
leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs,
announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Consultancy
Services International, Inc. (CSI), a leading insurance agency that
designs, implements and administers employee benefit programs by such
companies as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, AFLAC, GE Capital, CNA and John
Hancock for organizations across the nation and internationally through a
network of over 150 licensed insurance brokers and
agents.
CSI's extensive network of
insurance brokers and agents markets and sells a variety of individual
health insurance, group health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance
and other benefits from top insurance companies across the country. Under the agreement, CSI's network
of insurance brokers and agents will market and sell the company's
CARExpress membership programs to the public through its network of
insurance brokers and agents.
CSI's decision to add the company's CARExpress membership programs
to its roster of employee benefit programs represents CSI's first move
into the discount healthcare market.
"We are very pleased that CSI
has decided to enter the discount healthcare market and has chosen
CARExpress as its source of discount health membership programs," stated
David M. Daniels, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Health
Partners. "Many insurance
agencies are expanding into the discount healthcare market because of the
tremendous demand for healthcare solutions that target the 47 million
Americans who cannot afford traditional health insurance. CSI only works with the best
healthcare companies in the country.
For it to choose us over all of our competitors is a significant
accomplishment for us and a tremendous endorsement of the quality of our
CARExpress membership programs."
"We are very excited to add
National Health Partners' health discount programs to our arsenal of
employee benefits," stated Gary Jonas, President of Consultancy Services
International, Inc. "CSI has
always offered a comprehensive suite of only the best insurance and
related products to consumers and are always looking to improve and expand
the mix of products that we offer.
I believe that National Health's health discount programs are an
ideal addition to our suite of products and provide us with a terrific
solution for potential customers who want healthcare benefits but cannot
afford basic health insurance.
I am looking forward
to a long and successful relationship with them."
"CSI has an extensive network
of over 150 licensed brokers and agents that will be marketing our
CARExpress programs to the public," added Mr. Daniels. "As a result, we believe that this
relationship will yield a substantial amount of new CARExpress members for
us over the remainder of this year and throughout 2008. This agreement is one of numerous
agreements that we are currently negotiating with a variety of business
partners. Some of these, like
the agreement we recently announced with Internet Coupon Exchange, will
offer us new types of business opportunities and new recurring revenue
streams. I am very excited
about our expanding base of business partners and the diversified business
opportunities they are presenting to us. We expect to announce the
completion of many of these agreements in the very near
future."
