(OTCBB: NHPR - News), a leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs, announced today that Q1 2007 revenue increased over 220% to $1,044,508 from $324,404 for Q1 2006 as Q1 2007 net loss per share decreased 88% to $(0.02) from $(0.16) for Q4 2006. Q1 2007 Financial Highlights
“We are extremely pleased with what we achieved during Q1 2007,” stated David M. Daniels, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Health Partners. “Q1 2007 revenue increased over 220% to $1,044,508 from $324,404 for Q1 2006. In addition, our net loss per share fell to only $(0.02). This is all the more impressive in light of the substantial commitment of time and resources that we made to the development of our CARExpress Plus programs. We are very excited about that fact that we expect to complete our CARExpress Plus programs and begin selling them to the public within the next few days.” The company’s CARExpress Plus programs are health membership programs comprised of the company’s traditional CARExpress health discount programs and complementary limited liability insurance benefits. The company has received hundreds of inquiries regarding its CARExpress Plus programs since first announcing its intention to offer them this past fall. “We are also very pleased that our financial position continues to show substantial improvement,” stated Alex Soufflas, the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. “Most notable on this front is that our net loss per share decreased substantially during Q1 2007 after increasing each quarter during 2006. Our net loss per share was only $(0.02), compared to $(0.16) for Q4 2006 and $(0.39) for the full 2006 year. This is a result of the substantial increase in revenue we are experiencing as well as the cost cutting measures that we implemented during 2006 and Q1 2007. Our gross profit from operations of $476,425 during Q1 2007 was greater than our gross profit from operations for the entire year of 2006 and our current assets continue to substantially exceed our current liabilities.” The company reconfirmed that it expects to generate more than $14 million in revenues during 2007, representing an increase of 650% over 2006 revenue. “I am very excited about our prospects for future profitability,” added Mr. Daniels. ”Everything is coming together as planned. We expect to make several major announcements in the near future concerning new business agreements and arrangements that will benefit our company substantially.” National Health Partners, Inc.
