Health Partners
aCHIEVES INITIAL
SALES TARGETS THROUGH
NATIONAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDER
Company has already generated more than
2,000 new members
during the month of April and expects to
generate
more than 3,000 new members during the month of May
HORSHAM, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - National Health Partners, Inc. (National Health) (OTCBB: NHPR - News), a leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs, announced today that it has generated more than 2,000 new members through the agreement that it recently entered into with a national healthcare provider.
The healthcare provider has already sold more
than 2,000 of the company's CARExpress programs during the month of April
and expects to generate more than 3,000 new members per month for the
company starting in May. The
healthcare provider implemented an aggressive national sales campaign
earlier this month that it will be ramping up during the month of May and
will continue the campaign throughout the remainder of 2009 and into
2010. The campaign is already
having a dramatic impact on the company's revenue and cash flows for Q2
2009. The company believes
that the healthcare provider's sales campaign could generate more than
30,000 new members for the company during 2009.
"We are very excited that we have achieved the
sales projections that we recently announced earlier this month through
this healthcare provider," stated David M. Daniels, President and Chief
Executive Officer of National Health Partners. "This is a testament to the
quality of the sales campaign that is currently underway and the
professional manner with which it is being conducted by the healthcare
provider. Our customer
service staff has spoken with several of the new members that this
healthcare provider has generated for us this month and the members are
very happy with our CARExpress programs. We hope to generate additional
sales as these new members communicate the benefits of CARExpress to their
friends and family."
"As I indicated in our previous
press release, we are in the process of closing several new deals and are
beginning to generate sales through some new business partners that will
help us achieve our Q2 2009 and full 2009 year projections," continued Mr.
Daniels. "Most notable on
this front is that we are generating an increasing number of sales of our
CARExpress Plus programs through a national insurance agency that expects
to produce more than 500 sales of our CARExpress Plus programs per month
throughout 2009. We will be
issuing a press release shortly that will describe this deal in greater
detail and expect to make several new announcements during the upcoming
weeks as we close a number of other opportunities that we are working
on."
