Under the agreement, APSA will
use licensed insurance agents to present the company's CARExpress
membership programs to approximately 60,000 households per year. A substantial portion of the
households that the insurance agents will visit are underinsured or have
no insurance at all. The
insurance agents will present APSA's membership programs, which will
include the company's CARExpress membership programs, to household members
by conducting face-to-face meetings with them. The parties intend to pursue
additional opportunities with large groups of uninsured and underinsured
people such as groups of current and retired employees of large
corporations on a joint-venture basis.
