NATIONAL HEALTH PARTNERS
ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF ITS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED
CAREXPRESS MASTERCARD PROGRAM

Thursday, June 8, 7:30 am ET

HORSHAM, Pennsylvania – (BUSINESS WIRE) – June 8, 2006 – National Health Partners, Inc. (OTCBB: NHPR - News), a leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs, announced today that it will be rolling out the first stage of its CARExpress MasterCard program during the week of June 12th.

“I am extremely pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement for the immediate national rollout of a prepaid debit card program to our CARExpress members,” stated David M. Daniels, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Health Partners. “Beginning the week of June 12th, CARExpress members who do not have a debit card, credit card or checking account will be able to obtain their very own prepaid debit card. They will be able to use their prepaid debit card for purchases, withdrawals, card-to-card money transfers and a variety of other functions.”

The announcement of the company’s upcoming launch of its CARExpress MasterCard program follows closely on the heels of the company’s launch of its Hispanic advertising campaign featuring international superstar entertainer Lucia Mendez on June 1st. “The timing of the rollout of our MasterCard program could not be better,” stated Mr. Daniels. “We have made an extraordinary commitment to our Hispanic advertising campaign. By offering our MasterCard program to the public, we will be able to leverage off of this campaign. Although we began our Hispanic advertising campaign just a few days ago, we are already seeing strong daily sales growth and are receiving a large number of money orders from new members. This tells us that this program will be ideal for many of our new members. In addition, since many of the people who are uninsured or underinsured do not have a debit card, credit card or checking account, our ability to offer a prepaid debit card will significantly increase the number of people who will join CARExpress. Our MasterCard program fits perfectly within our dynamic business model because it provides us with a brand new recurring monthly revenue stream consisting of a portion of the transaction and maintenance fees generated by their use of the cards. Everyone will be eligible for our prepaid debit card program – no social security number or credit approval will be necessary.”

“We are rolling out the CARExpress MasterCard program in two stages,” added Alex Soufflas, the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. “The first stage will involve the immediate availability of a prepaid debit card during the week of June 12th. The second stage will involve the rollout of our own private label prepaid debit card containing our CARExpress logo during the third quarter of 2006. The addition of our CARExpress logo to the prepaid debit cards will provide continued exposure of CARExpress to our members, which will help accelerate member recognition and loyalty.”
