HORSHAM, Pennsylvania – (BUSINESS WIRE) – August 23, 2006 – National Health Partners, Inc. (OTCBB: NHPR - News), a leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs, announced today that its billings for Q3 2006 already exceed revenues for the entire Q2 2006 due to the continued strong growth in its CARExpress membership base. The company expects billings generated from its co-marketing agreement with Irwin Naturals and the increased sales commitment by Trident Marketing International to drive its third quarter revenues to over $600,000 from $317,024 for the second quarter and drive its third quarter membership base to 11,000 members from a second quarter total of 6,300 members.

“We are seeing continued growth in our retained membership base which is having a significant impact on our billings,” stated David M. Daniels, President and CEO of National Health Partners. “The surge in our billings is a prelude to very strong revenue growth for the remainder of 2006, particularly in the 4th quarter, and continuing into 2007.”

Mr. Daniels continued, “We recently announced a new co-marketing agreement with Irwin Naturals and an increased sales commitment by Trident Marketing. As a result, we are seeing our daily sales grow at a faster pace which should translate into much greater revenues for the remainder of this year. As a result of the current growth rate of our billings, we expect our revenues for Q3 2006 to increase almost 100% over our revenues for Q2 2006.”

“Our CARExpress programs, which provide members with access to over 1,000,000 healthcare providers nationwide for just $39.95 a month, represent a healthcare solution that is difficult for many of the 100,000,000 uninsured and underinsured Americans to turn down,” stated Alex Soufflas, CFO and Executive Vice President of National Health Partners. “We are aggressively pursuing additional co-branding relationships in furtherance of our goal of making CARExpress a brand name in healthcare.”
National Health Partners’ non-traditional approach to healthcare provides a cost-effective means for uninsured and underinsured individuals to obtain the healthcare they need at significantly reduced costs. Through its co-branding strategy, the company has networked with prestigious leaders such as CareMark and Cigna to create a revolutionary pipeline that lowers the costs of prescriptions and medical, dental and vision care through relationship optimization for millions of people.
