HORSHAM, Pennsylvania – (BUSINESS WIRE) – August 16, 2006 – National Health Partners, Inc. (OTCBB: NHPR - News), a leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs, announced today that revenue climbed $300,027 to $317,024 for the second quarter of 2006 from $16,997 for the second quarter of 2005. Annual CARExpress memberships continued to be the driving force behind the company’s growth as memberships climbed 1,475% to another new record of 6,300 by the close of Q2 2006 from 400 at the close of Q2 2005. The company continues to gain momentum as a result of its recently announced branding and marketing initiatives with Irwin Naturals and Trident Marketing.

Second Quarter Highlights

  • Annual memberships in CARExpress programs with monthly payments as high as $39.95 climbed 1,475% in Q2 2006 to 6,300 members from 400 in Q2 2005
  • Q2 2006 members increased 64% to 6,300 from 3,850 for Q1 2006
  • Revenues increased $300,027 to $317,024 for Q2 2006 from $16,997 for the corresponding period in 2005, and increase of 1,765%
  • Net cash flows for the six months ended June 30, 2006 increased $879,694, or 4,738%, to $898,261 from $18,567 for the same period in 2005
  • The company signed a co-marketing agreement with Irwin Naturals, a leading formulator and supplier of high-quality natural health, herbal and nutritional supplement products sold in over 50 countries and retail stores like GNC and Vitamin Shoppe, under which Irwin Naturals will co-market our CARExpress programs to its customer base through a combination of direct marketing and up-sell marketing
  • The company recently implemented a new accelerated membership initiative with Trident Marketing International, a leading provider of outsourced communication solutions, specializing in customer acquisition, customer care and retention, and interactive voice response services, through which Trident is devoting additional resources and sales personnel towards sales of new memberships in the CARExpress programs
